Glutathione (600mg)
Glutathione is an endogenous tripeptide (glycine-cysteine-glutamate) and the most abundant intracellular antioxidant in mammalian cells. It is studied for neutralising reactive oxygen species, regenerating other antioxidants (vitamins C and E), supporting immune function, and driving Phase II hepatic detoxification.
Endogenous glutathione synthesis declines with age, chronic disease, and environmental toxin exposure. This decline is studied as a contributor to oxidative stress in ageing and chronic disease models.
Key Research Areas Intracellular Antioxidant Activity — Studied for neutralising reactive oxygen species at the site of oxidative damage Immune Function — Studied for natural killer cell and T-cell activity Melanogenesis Inhibition — Studied for melanin synthesis inhibition and hyperpigmentation models Hepatic Detoxification — Phase II detoxification cofactor; binds toxins, heavy metals, and metabolic waste for excretion Neuroprotection — Studied for neuronal protection in neurodegenerative disease models Supplied as lyophilized powder at high purity, verified by HPLC and mass spectrometry. 600mg per vial. Fast domestic shipping across Australia.
